About me
Nigel Dabby lives in Martinez, CA, and has been hiking, biking, climbing, backpacking, and skiing for more decades than he cares to admit. His initial introduction to the mountains and the outdoors was in his mid-20s and it took place in the Himalayas, initially in the Darjeeling area in India. Shortly thereafter he did the Everest trek. His love of the outdoors has only grown since then. He was one of the early guides for two travel companies, Mountain Travel and Sobek and has led many treks in the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Andes. Nigel now spends a lot of time in his local Sierras, especially Yosemite. He has introduced many people of all ages to the joys of the mountains and is never happier than accompanying like-minded people in the outdoors.
